Cellular Stress Signaling and Tissue Repair in Regenerative Niches
Abstract
This study examines how transient stress signaling influences repair outcomes in regenerative tissue niches. Across a controlled injury model, the paper shows that moderate stress signaling can sharpen stem-cell coordination, while prolonged activation degrades lineage fidelity and slows repair. The findings connect molecular stress response timing with tissue-level recovery quality, offering a more precise account of why superficially similar injuries can produce materially different healing trajectories.
