Submission Terms

Rights and responsibilities when submitting work to The Insight.

School-testing version effective 5 August 2026. This practical notice has not been reviewed by legal counsel and must be reviewed before a wider public launch. See the Impressum for operator and correspondence details.

What you confirm

  • You created the submission or have permission from every relevant rights holder to submit it.
  • The work is accurate to the best of your knowledge and does not unlawfully infringe copyright, privacy, confidentiality, or other rights.
  • You have disclosed material AI assistance, conflicts of interest, sponsorship, and any restrictions on names, images, quotations, or supporting files.
  • If you are under 18, you have any consent required by your parent, guardian, school, or applicable policy; users under 14 must not submit independently.

Licence and editing

You keep ownership of your work. You grant The Insight a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to review, edit, format, reproduce, publish, distribute, archive, promote, and remove the submitted work in connection with The Insight and its channels. This licence allows normal editorial and promotional use but does not transfer ownership.

Publication is not guaranteed. We may request evidence, consent, revisions, attribution changes, or removal where necessary for accuracy, safety, rights, or editorial quality.
